Distribution network
National Poly Industries has a wide network of water tank agents covering the regional and rural areas of Queensland, New South Wales ACT and Victoria, as well as the metropolitan centres of Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.
Food-grade material
Every water tank manufactured by National Poly Industries is sourced from the highest quality, Australian polyethylene, meeting national standards for food contact and drinking water. See Why buy poly tanks.
Food standards
National Poly Industries tanks meet two national standards: Australian Standard 2070 for Food Contact, and Australian Standard 4020 for Drinking Water. See Why buy poly tanks.
Polycraft
Polycraft is National Poly Industries’ range of polyethylene recreational trailer boats. Since its launch in 2000, Polycraft has become the Australian leader. See Who is National Poly Industries.
Polyethylene
Polyethylene is the light, cost-effective material used to build most water tanks in the Australian market. The manufacturing process has minimal environmental impact with no emissions. The material can be recycled and ensures pure drinking water with no taint. See Why buy poly tanks.
Rainwater harvesting
Rainwater harvesting is the act of ‘harvesting’ or saving rainwater. Any home with a system of gutters can harvest rainwater into a rainwater tank. See Rainwater tanks.
Rotational moulding
Rotational moulding is the manufacturing process used by National Poly Industries to create its rainwater and other tanks. The technologically advanced process uses computer-controlled rotational moulding machines to produce one-piece tanks with extra strength. See Why buy poly tanks.
Site preparation
Correct site preparation is needed to ensure a long, stable and trouble-free life for your water tank. Every water tank needs a flat, level, compacted base constructed of either concrete or crusher dust. See Installation and preparation.
UV protection
Water tanks manufactured by National Poly Industries are made from polyethylene with high levels of protection against the harsh Australian sun’s (UV) rays. This ensures National Poly Industries tanks retain their original colour and strength. All polyethylene used is sourced from an Australian manufacturer, VanGlobe. See Who is National Poly Industries.
